On Friday 12th June, That There Those Unfortunates launch their brand new single – a (fast)moving tribute to Malcolm McDowell, star of If…, O Lucky Man and Britannia Hospital (not to mention Stanley Kubrick’s A Clockwork Orange).

It’s just £5 in, and you can BYOB.

Space is limited, so although you can pay on the door, you can guarantee a place by prebooking here.

Prebooking also gets you a goody bag including an limited edition art postcard, full download of the three track EP and a bag of Monster Munch.

The band will be joined by the really rather ace Witching Waves, whose 2014 debut album, Fear of Falling Down, was picked by Drowned in Sound as one of the year’s best LPs.

Turn up early to catch a special screening of Lindsay Anderson’s masterpiece, If…, McDowell’s big screen debut. Stay on late to ring in Malcolm’s 72nd birthday, which falls at midnight (as birthdays often do) on 13 June.

Doors open at 7pm, at the Old Fire Station, 61 Leswin Road, London N16 7NX- that’s just off Stoke Newington High Street, here’s a map.

I Wish That I Could Smile Like Malcolm is available NOW as a free digital download from right here.

A limited edition (of 50) art print with exclusive three track digital download will be available at the gig.
